From 14–16 July 2026, VALTIP4 (ACIAR FST/2023/153), in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences, National University of Laos, conducted baseline gender data collection in Xepon district, Savannakhet province, using the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) toolkit.
🎯 Objectives:
📌 Collect and analyze baseline gender data within the community
📌 Apply knowledge from the recent GALS Training of Trainers at village level
📌 Build a database to support future project planning and development
This marks an important step following the recent GALS Training of Trainers, putting the tools into practice at village level in Savannakhet province.
